Savings Goal Calculator
Pick a goal, tell the calculator what you have and what you can put away each month, and it shows the month you cross the finish line. A little interest from a high yield savings account speeds things up more than most people expect.
You reach $10,000 in about 29 months (2.4 years).

How this math works
Each month the tool grows your balance by one twelfth of your APY, then adds your monthly deposit. It keeps going until your balance reaches the goal, and the chart marks the path along the way.
Two levers matter most. The monthly deposit does the heavy lifting in the first couple of years, while the interest rate matters more the longer the journey runs. If your timeline looks too long, a small bump in the monthly amount usually beats hunting for a slightly better rate.
Common questions
What APY should I enter?
Use the rate your savings account actually pays. High yield online savings accounts have recently paid around 4 percent, while many big bank accounts pay close to nothing.
Should my emergency fund and goals share one account?
Keeping them separate works better for most people. A dedicated account for each goal makes progress visible and makes you less likely to raid the money for something else.
What if I cannot save the same amount every month?
Enter your average month and treat the result as an estimate. Months where you add extra simply pull the finish date closer.
